New School Aquatics is Hawaii’s newest aquarium company focusing on freshwater/saltwater aquariums and ponds. Locally owned and operated here in Honolulu, our purpose is to assist in realizing your aquatic visions. We are more than just your average aquarium company. Meet Tyson "Pono" Pizarro
I’ve been involved in the aquarium industry since I was very little, always hanging around aquarium shops learning about different fish and how to care for them. As an avid aquarium enthusiast, I understand the significance in personalizing your own aquarium. It is truly a representation of your ideas, and a reflection of yourself.
Fast forward to my early 20’s — I became an independent contractor working as an aquarium service representative for 6 years for a reputable service company that specializes in saltwater aquariums. I’ve worked on many different projects, on different islands, with tanks ranging from 55 gallons, exceeding 1000 gallons. I created New School Aquatics LLC as an opportunity for me to explore all aspects of the aquatic industry. I wanted the freedom to take on any job regardless of the situation.
